It works great when it does. But some are unable to get it to pair to the vehicle.
I agree using the Apple Watch Ultra as key (bluetooth, not internet/wifi) is a tremendously great feature. I had previously purchased "Watch App for Tesla" and had 50/50 success with the linked WAAK app for...
Worked on this again this morning. And, thanks @suprteck for adding that feedback from the developer.
Here is what I have done so far:
Delete Testflight from phone. The Waak app in App Store is formal now and Testflight is not accepting new entries.
* Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this...
Mine also stopped working last week. I tried re-installing the app from the App Store because it seemed to be "live" with positive reviews and a subscription option, that doesn't work either. Says no vehicle linked and unlike before there is now no way to add it as a key.
I think you'd have a good point if Rivian wasn't taking the position that using a third party adapter voids all warranty and may CAUSE severe fire/damage/etc. And, Rivian hasn't given current owners the option of purchasing an official one (until now). I'd have HAPPILY paid for the Rivian...
Tesla Model S '17 - Test drove first
Tesla Model Y '21 - No test drive
Rivian R1S - '24 - No test drive
My wife still drives ICE and we test drive all ICE vehicles. Some have too many gears which causes them to jerk and gear hunt frantically all the time. We try to avoid those.
I work in this industry and the antics of Bosch (and the entire legacy auto supply chain industry) is typical. Bosch definitely did not act in good faith; this is how they treat all customers especially a small one that competes with their larger bread and butter customers. It's part intentional...
Same here.
Basic Halloween themes are available such as the ambient lighting and locking noise.
iPhone app Drivers menu is not working. However, phone still appears to work as key.
No costume function showing up in app. Confirmed am on latest version.
UPDATE: ~ 2 minutes after I posed this...
It's been well covered and documented that all of the official adapters for all the companies (Rivian, Ford, GM, etc) are exclusively manufactured by Tesla.
What do you mean it's no longer the case? That Tesla isn't the manufacturer? They are. And they need to ramp more, obviously. Look at the rationing Rivian is needing to do.
Rivian has nothing to do with the timing of these. Tesla is the manufacturer and supplies them (and has been VERY slow making them and delivering them).
Same (assuming you are referring to the steering wheel button shortcut). I haven't looked into it yet. Had reverted to using the home icon at the top of the center screen.
Appreciate all the comments.
I've noticed that when listening to Apple, a certain playlist will have Atmos and non-Atmos songs. The Atmos songs play with "normal" volume, but now the non-Atmos songs come up and are REALLY loud, even on like volume 3 it's very loud. Is anyone else noticing...
I feel bad for all involved if it's real. However, there have been a surge of similar fake photos making the rounds lately and posted with little context. LOTS of such images for Cybertrucks.
The house looks odd to me here. Where are all the studs, insulation, hanging wiring in that wall? The...
The disappointment that is EA has been well documented by reliable sources such as Kyle Conner. I avoid them like the plague. They are also usually in less than desirable locations.
While nobody is perfect, Tesla Superchargers are the best available right now (if you don't want to spend time...
This is a negative of using a heat pump. Same was true with my Tesla MYP. You learn quickly to precondition well in advance so that the interior surfaces are not still hot and radiantly heating the cabin. I didn't view it as a negative really because I actually wanted a well cooled cabin before...
