  1. Driver+ deactivating when coming up to a overhead toll reader?

Having put 10K+ miles in using Blue Cruise I don’t recall it ever deactivating for an overhead toll scanner.
  2. Driver+ deactivating when coming up to a overhead toll reader?

is it simply that the data from Mapbox doesn’t know the difference between toll booths and over head toll readers? I can understand deactivating so the car doesn’t run into a concrete toll booth, so maybe it simply doesn’t have the data to differentiate?
  3. You have got to be f’ing kidding! (Rant about Rivian windshield issues)

Regrettably just joined this club. 200K+ miles on other cars the last few years and nothing but a minor chip but in 150 miles I drove this morning got a 5” crack at the top of the passenger side and a big chip lower drivers side. Looks like Safelite is now doing Rivians but there is a...
  4. Manual Tonneau Discussion

Ha! I hope that wasn’t all he meant ?That’s certainly not new.
  5. Manual Tonneau Discussion

Interesting chat this morning with a Rivian mobile service tech. Asked him if he’d heard anything about the manual tonneau yet and he said that trucks are “now rolling off the line with them.” Maybe he misheard my question and was referring to the new powered version (which would also be news)...
  6. Official Rivian Stories: R1T SOFTWARE UPDATE DETAILS - English - Version 2023.02.03

Still waiting for it here as well. Curious since this is our first update since delivery - are updates rolled out in any particular order that we know of?
  7. [Vote in poll] Turned off LKA (lane keep assist) today, and you should too!

That is the case with the Rivian. However, my issue with LKA is that it "recognizes" lanes that don't exist and will therefore steer the truck dangerously. Our Mach-e was 10X better than this so we kept lane keep on in that car. Rivian has some catching up to do.
  8. [Vote in poll] Turned off LKA (lane keep assist) today, and you should too!

Had to turn ours off as well. Snow covered roads led to some scary situations where the R1T thought it found lines and tried to veer us in odd directions even though we were still in the correct lane.
  9. Anybody been dealing with TPMS 24/7?

Fwiw I did not. Never got any response and was forced to do a credit card chargeback to get my money back since I was charged but nothing ever shipped.
  10. Vampire Drain Relating to Frunk Trim -- my solution to reduce drain %

Fascinating! Thanks for that detail - I had no idea. Guess as long as you're comfortable with the delay it's a smart call.
  11. Vampire Drain Relating to Frunk Trim -- my solution to reduce drain %

My Mach-e only drained < 1% per week. However, there are downsides to Ford's implementation such as the fact that it relies on text messages (yes, actually SMS) to wake up the vehicle once asleep. In practice this adds up to 30 seconds or so sometimes to responses to commands (remote start etc.)...
  12. Anybody been dealing with TPMS 24/7?

I ordered last week of Dec and despite calls, voicemails, emails and even texts never heard a thing back. Never received the sensors either so I gave up and just installed without TPMS since I'm just running these for the winter. Not sure if he was on vacation or what, but pretty frustrating to...
  13. DIY temporary tonneau / bed cover?

Thanks for this confirmation! Ordered this same one and installed today. Snowing on it currently, so we’ll see how my alignment was in the morning ?
  14. Potential Vampire Drain Culprit? Side note on wiper blades.

FWIW noticed the same on mine in the snow (the upper center area of the windshield melts off). Does anyone not have this behavior?
