I’ve bought several vehicles out of state. They can transfer tax paid to residing state. That or you don’t pay the tax and you pay it at registration whether it be registered in CA or NM. Should work fine.
PS: I’ve bought in Idaho and Texas and live in CA.
I do like the F-U acceleration of Tesla. I missed that when test driving the Rivian. Definitely miss it when driving any ICE vehicles now. Even the transmission lag is enough to keep me in an EV going forward.
Anyone with a white R1 and forest edge interior? Can you share pics? I presume this is not a popular option. I liked the wood and color of the FE and I do like white cars given the ease of maintaining the paint. Thanks in advance!
While I’d like to agree with you, the quality build of the P3 will easily set it apart. The luriq is akin to Model Y AWD (not the long range or performance). Basic. Slower. Low quality materials, suspension, etc.
Dual motor should be better off road as they can put 300hp to a single wheel vs 200 they can with individual motor when one wheel doesn’t have traction or is in the air. Similar benefit of Heep with solid axle.
If they can manage traction control system, dual will be a better set up than what...
Costco has one. I’ve used it for several years with no issues. Works wonderful. Nothing like your food not getting soggy from melted ice and it always being cold. It was less than the comparable Yeti cooler.
