I’m doing my hypothetical shopping for a charger and noticed Wallbox is releasing a new charger tomorrow. It hits the specs that the Rivian has (48amp, 25ft cable). Maybe it’s the same unit without the Rivian logo.
Any suggestions for a 48amp 25ft charger to help me get ready for my truck...
I don't have a Tesla, but the people I've talked to who had early Teslas weren't bothered too much by repairs because the company had great customer service and offered mobile repairs. It seems Rivian noticed that as well and are following suit.
I wonder how this will work. New superchargers have CCS installed next to the proprietary connector and we wait for the roll-out? Tesla sells adapters? At what cost? Are the $/kWh the same for Tesla drivers or are we paying more using CCS?
Either way, I’ll probably be willing to pay a bit for...
What wheels does this truck have? The tire says they're 20's, but maybe the none black ones, but blacked out now? Look at it compared to the configurator:
The tax law is my conundrum also. I've decided to still be able to get the tax credit, I'll move to explorer package and upgrade my wheels aftermarket.
The tax law should really be based on battery pack size. In my mind this EV is talking me out of buying another F150 because it can go 400...
I'm not an EV driver, yet. I'm a pickup driver. My 2011 F-150 claims 21mpg on the highway. There are so many things you do with trucks that increase the drag. If load up some stuff in the bed, drive 70-75 mph, hit some traffic, and climb some hills I will easily get down to 17mpg (~20%...
With the bed being very short (I’ll be coming from a 6.5’ bed) the R1T should really offer a bed extender. Especially since it seems like they’re pushing that tailgate aft so much to try to mimic a conventional truck bed.
I’ve configured Canyon Red w/ Max Pack. From what I can tell, it might be the least favorite color other than yellow.
Do you think this will make my reservation be picked for production much later? Or maybe (fingers crossed) my max pack is early on the assembly line to sneak in with the very...
