My deposit was dropped September 2019. Adventure/red canyon/forest edge/20”at. No guide contact whatsoever. I did originally have a max pack config that I changed to large pack
Sounds like you, myself, and @lostpacket are in the same max->large situation. My pre-order was sept '19. It would be super awesome of you if you can ask your guide for us if Rivian will be contacting more max->large converts and report back.
I chatted with CS today. I think we’re in a separate grouping of preorders. He said we won’t get a message end of May per that email last night. We must wait to be contacted in the “summer”.
My guess is that we’re not in the pool of people getting vehicles right now. As random as everything...
I just chatted with customer service. For those of us who switched from max pack to large pack we won't be getting a call in May to talk about our configuration as stated in the email blast that went out earlier this week. We will be contacted at some point in the summer.
Here's some plans. Seems like a good location getting into Yosemite Valley.

Meh, I'm not sure if this is a good hypothesis. My order is a little over a year older than yours, I also have a Red Canyon spec, and have not heard a peep from Rivian about delivery.
Did you do anything to expedite your delivery? Call customer service everyday? Walk up to a Rivian office and ask for special treatment? Bribe someone?
I also had your mentality, but then changed from max to large to get my truck sooner. The price hike may not be worth it, UNLESS the max pack becomes a 800V battery. That'll greatly increase the charge rate and would make the price hike worth it for me.
"Selling points"? But you didn't pay a premium to get Launch Edition. In fact, you got a wheel upgrade discount. I'd say they should build Adventure and Launch concurrently deliver to whomever dropped their deposit first.
It'll make me feel better if you're lying because I have a 2019 reservation of an Adventure trim with still no delivery window. The thought of you getting yours before mine is upsetting me.
If I'm supposed to "always be charging" let's say I get home from a day driving and have a 30% charge. I plug into my home's 48amp charger at 6pm. Let's say it'll be charged up to 70% by midnight. Should I throttle the charge to 20 amps or something so that it takes more time charging and less...
