You legit have an Adventure package, not a Launch Edition? What was your pre-order date? Did you by chance originally spec a max pack and change it to large after the max pack delay?
I'm not sure there's a way to open a manual tonneau cover with the cross bars installed over the bed. That could be a pain if you find yourself wanting something in the front of the bed with bikes on the rack.
Who the hell is camping/off-roading without a spare tire? That storage space doesn't count, in my eyes.
However, I'll be moving from a crew cab f-150 with a 6.5" bed and I don't think I'll be hurting for storage space in the R1T (spare tire included)
That’s why I’m glad I picked up the second reservation. I plan on getting an R1T 300 this summer then trade up to the max pack whenever that happens. Hopefully still at pre-March 1st pricing.
I currently have two reservations. One for a adventure/large and a second for a adventure/max. If they keep prices for both, then I’m on pretty good shape to trade in to the max pack truck at hopefully no loss in value to my original large pack R1T.
I have a max pack/adventure that I later turned to large/adventure. CS says I'll get my delivery June/December 2022 so I'll join this group.

I plan on buying a second non-rivian, non-tesla EV next year. I just finished install of a charge point flex at my cabin. My office uses charge point. For home the Rivian one is cheaper at $500, but I'm wondering if it's worth it to just get another charge point now so that I can do the...
Rivian is behind the times with a 400V battery on their Large Pack. My guess is that they're delaying the launch of the Max Pack because they need to get up to 800V. The R1T/S charge rates are not good compared to Kia and Lucid. Pure speculation, but I wouldn't want to release a battery pack...
