  1. Wisconsin Service?

Just got my recall done there as well and was cleared. You’re not wrong about the chaos bit. My general sense is they are in rush mode to get trucks prepped and out the door. Both lots were stacked with trucks and EDVs on Wednesday. But yeah, “Economically diverse” neighborhood, Walnut street is...
  2. Phone Mount Dash Anchor - 17mm, 20mm, & 25mm Ball Mount Size Options

Question for the vendor: When installed and snugly screwed in place, is there any up/down movement in the mount? I found with a competitor's mount that there could be some play once the phone was attached.
  3. Spring Break in Wisconsin!

    12" in Mad-town. Bizarre
  4. Questions on Long Term Parking at ORD

There’s some DC fast charging around the airport so if you build in an extra hour to charge to 100% and then park would that get you through?
  5. 85% 265 miles got me 198 miles and down to 10%

Count, have you checked the MGE charge center downtown Madison? Much better charging, never a wait and cheaper.
  6. 270 Awnings on R1T - Whatcha got?

What's the mounted/closed length on that one you have mounted? I'm looking at the 23zero one and its 81" long
  7. Wisconsin Service?

Hey Ben, I live in Madison and have had a few service items, none serious, that have been cared for by both the Chicago Service Center and mobile service. Both experiences were top notch. I chose the mobile service option for the items below as I couldn't work in a trip to Chicago at that point...
  8. NEW - RIVIPARTS Cell Phone Ball Mount PRO

Just ran this yesterday; worked well with routing but needing a USB-A to USB-C adapter for the MagSafe charger. Thanks for the idea!
  9. PC Mag article: How Rivian Is Getting 100,000 Backlogged EVs to Customers (Tour of Chicago Service Center)

https://www.pcmag.com/news/get-frunky-with-it-how-rivian-is-getting-100k-backlogged-evs-to-customers On the fluffier side but still fun to see the Chicago Service Center in some detail.
  10. Milwaukee reservation holder here!

Nope, no drive, bought sight unseen
  11. How warm does everyone’s heated seats get?

Odd, I may be an outlier here but I never have to go above level 2 on the seats. Level 3 is a bun-burner. Steering wheel doesn't get super warm but on a cold day I can feel it.
  12. 5000 Miles of Perfect Operation From My R1T

VIN 4xxx with 8k+ miles and everything works perfectly including the tonneau. Minor squeaks, rattles and occasional thunks aside, truck is damn near perfect.
  13. Oh winter...

I'd take that all day at that speed and temp. Nice work
  14. Random 20 Inch rims (cheap) for snow tires

Alright, likely a stupid question, but did those years of Rams come with a steel wheel spare? Wondering if those could be made to fit...
  15. Madison, WI R1T owners: PPF installers?

Negative, made a few inquiries but then decided to just treat the truck like a truck. Has held up well over the 6 months and 7k miles that I've had it.
  16. RIVIPARTS Cell Phone Ball Mount PRO 1 Inch Model

Keep this thread updated with your experiences as I have the same RAM setup and found the mount had more movement than I would have expected. I’m waiting for the MagSafe RAM piece to arrive for testing.
  17. Unexpected Compressor Use

Nice! Used it on 2 camping trips for inflatable mattresses but trying to roll up that hose and get it to fit back into the bag can be a hassle. Like the camp speaker, I don’t think about it everyday but when I need/want to use it having it is great.
  18. ⚠️ Rivian Recall: insufficiently torqued front upper control arm & steering knuckle fastener [official torque value = 90 lb-ft / 122 Nm]

Popped into the Chicago SC this morning and got it taken care of. Literally 60 seconds job. Pressed my luck and asked about a tire rotation (with spare) and they had a free lift and nothing waiting so had that handled too. Cost: $80. Staff there are always great.
