I found it is not enough to add your credit card to Account—>Wallet, in the Tesla App (at least in the iOS app).
Once you add your card there, then you also have to go to Account—>Charging—>Manage Payment, and then select the card you added to the wallet.
Notice ApplePay isn’t an option you...
Every time I’ve gone on a trip for more than 3-4 days—I usually leave my truck plugged in—at some point there’s a charging error. When I get back, the LEDs around the charging port are red.
Note: I have a Rivian wall charger.
Is it just me, or does it seem like the width of one of the wheels is not enough to catch the truck if the jack fails, i.e., the bare disc in the wheel well will hit the ground before the frame of the car hits the tire.
And can the tire/wheel really take the force of 3000lbs crashing down on it...
I carefully read this thread and the ones linked by @SlaterGS, before going on a couple of winter road trips in New England. Was ready to switch to 71F or 72F degrees, but we ended up leaving the cabin temp set to fully Auto and 69F degrees the whole time. It was < 20F much of the time. The HVAC...
I use high regen because I like sticking with one-pedal driving as much as possible, and find the default regen setting is not aggressive enough for traffic in town, it's fine on the highway and less busy rural roads.
I keep auto ride height because the lower height is better for efficiency on...
I uploaded the file and ordered a 3D Print from Treatstock (I chose Bellair3D to fulfill the order since they are local-ish). Bellair3D printed it out that same evening and it was in the mail the next day. Took me about 2 minutes. You can do it all using a guest account, it is a snap.
I agree, the delay makes kneel impractical, my kids are usually trying to open their doors even before the truck is fully stopped in the garage. When we get back from sports stuff and they're hungry for dinner, the extra 5-10 seconds for kneel mode is definitely a stretch. Also, when I'm driving...
Out of curiosity, why did you buy the 80A adapter instead of the 60A adapter, since Rivians' can only charge at 48A (80% of 60A charger).
Is that because the 60A adapter is not compatible with 80A chargers, so the 80A adapter has more compatibility? Has anyone tried the 60A adapter with 80A...
I've hear Rivian will be sending us adapters for highspeed charging from Tesla superchargers. Will that adpater also work for the mobile cord use case? If so, I might just want intstead of shelling out for one now.
Agree with your sentiment though. This past weekend, we stayed at a hotel that...
I was looking for something similar, and was happy to see this data in one place nicely organized. However, I'm having a hard time reconciling it with the data in the owner's guide (see page 129):
The difference between sport and standard mode in your table is 2.6". But that doesn't match...
@EV Sportline : do you have specific valve caps you recommend for the R800 wheels, which have highly recessed stems?
When the tire shop mounted tires to my set of R800s, they probably mixed up the original caps with other ones they had lying around, because now 2-3 of them are basically...
Planning a ski trip to Vermont, and we want to stop at this charger to top off (https://www.plugshare.com/location/469404). It has great reviews on plugshare. However, when I search the app for high speed chargers, none show up in that location nor is that network part of the choices the app...
I thought the "snowflake" and "three red wiggly up-arrow" buttons only impacted whether you wanted to ventilate or heat the seats, not whether you wanted heat vs. A/C in the cabin.
