They look great mine will come in July. Did you take off the plastic under protection or left them on and just cut holes to give access to the support fittings.

Another issue might be once they create running boards they will need to get the range numbers revised/certified. May not be worth the effort.

I heard in one of the reviews Rivian may be coming out with running boards. DO not want to go for 3rd party if Rivian will offer one. Any experience with 3rd party ones that anyone would like to share, also any impact to Rivian warranty. I did mention this during my R1S delivery discussions and...

Have not seen any other option, if someone has please do post, these can be put on and removed in a hurry. Planning to take a long road trip, in warm climate without these or something similar will be tough. Heat transmission from the roof windows is fairly intense. :):)

It is not cloth or a blanket, material is very light. Cost is also very reasonable. Looks better in person than the image. Until something else comes along it will work for the summer.

Left the R1S outside today for some time in the sun, the shades do make a significant difference in terms of temperature cannot say if it is as claimed by the vendor as this is a subjective opinion based on experience.
