Great list. Only thing I can think of that's missing is a valet/teenage driver mode. Not sure I want to give 835HP to either a valet driver or a teenager. If they had similar to the hellcat's where you can just put a PIN in to limit it and it will drastically reduce the power then that'd work.
That's good news, so that makes me hopeful we can get basic music functionality from our phones via a software update assuming they want to implement it
I don't understand your question. AFAIK no codecs are supported. That as of right now the USB-C Ports are power only, outside of using the storage feature of the gear guard. If I'm wrong then someone please correct me, but that's what I've seen to date.
The other thing to keep in mind is your ability to get audio to the Meridian sound system. If you're like me and are not a Spotify subscriber, than my understanding as of this writing is your only option is bluetooth which will degrade the quality of the audio being played. I haven't read...
Knowing nothing about making a vehicle in large scale, I'd imagine it isn't that easy. Much like when something breaks in IT and people say "Just revert it back, it's simple" when there's 200 domino effect from one small change.

Tesla's will have it soon too (If they don't already on the new models)
We don't use AWS, we use containers and self host them. Containers that are all built to pull from repositories. That's the way we've done it at the last 4 companies i've worked for, though one of them was a Fortune 50 company that was a competitor of AWS, so I guess that helps not having used AWS.
I'm not saying you're wrong, but also being in the industry at very large companies for many years, I guarantee you their backlog is likely pretty massive, so they're not just sitting around staring at this issue wondering how they're going to fix it. From their point of view, they've...
Rollbacks or snapshots? What is this 2012? In the day of code repositories and containers, I haven't heard anyone use the term snapshots or rollbacks in many years, and I do mean many years.
My only hesitation personally is that i'm 6'5 and might have headroom issues. With that said, I owned a Silverado for a while and didn't have any issues with it and the internal dimensions seem similar enough that I'm hoping I'll have no issues. We'll see
Yeah, if they used that approach to help offset the lost cost of the lost money of the preorder price I’d be cool with it. Not ideal, but neither is them selling a vehicle at a loss so I feel like that’d be a decent middle ground.
I dunno, apparently I’m in the minority that believes that CarPlay and android auto shouldn’t compete or replace infotainment systems. It should just be an addition to the existing platform so that developers have easy access to get their apps into your car without having to develop a whole new...
Yeah, but it's tax savings from the 22 F150 that'd he also have to pay upfront when he buys the F150. So it basically comes down to pay taxes now vs later.
If it were me, I'd stick with the 04 and just make sure it's repaired properly. Just the TTL alone on the 22 F150 is likely to cost more than the cost to repair the brakes on your 04. Just make sure the mechanic fixes it properly and doesn't cut corners. I'd also ask them if there was anything...
I'm back in, didn't actually cancel but had 0 intentions of paying the new price. I will say though, they still utterly pissed me off and I'm now hesitant to get excited again. They broke trust with me and it's going to take a while for it to come back to where it was.
