  1. Wishlist of small things that Rivian can improve (that bug you)

And this is explicitly against the setting to not change the view to front when going into drive. I can't believe Rivian hasn't fixed this in a year. I want the rear camera and only the rear camera by choice and especially if there's a setting for it. It's these super tiny things they can't get...
  2. Rivian software is (still) an embarrassment and needs to get better fast before R2

It's like saying, "I'm not racist, but....." Yeah, whatever comes next is definitely going to be racist.
  3. Rivian software is (still) an embarrassment and needs to get better fast before R2

Proximity unlock after Halloween and before 46 update was hot hot garage. You cannot change my mind on this. That was just my experience. It's been almost Tesla key-fob reliable since then.
  4. Rivian software is (still) an embarrassment and needs to get better fast before R2

I get it fellow owner. Imagine my surprise when Rivian fixed the cold weather charging issue only to break the navigation. But I can confidantly say that going-on over a decade of EV OTA updates, things do get addressed over time. Now, Rivian hasn't been as solid as Tesla with regards to...
  5. 2025.46 Update (Release Notes). OTA pushing out now!

It also has to calculate the extra-execution of the curve, so slowing down is going to allow for that.
  6. Very incorrect arrival SoC with 2025.46.0

It's junk, absolute dog poo. The longer the trip, the more the arrival percentage increases, even beyond current SOC.
  7. Casting HDHomeRun / IPTV to Rivian display screen - my solution

Yeah, I definitely appreciate your hard work. Certainly requires an above average understanding of involved components. But worst case scenario, any Plex user can either role the dice on stability as you said, or transcode down to 1080p if their hardware supports it
  8. Casting HDHomeRun / IPTV to Rivian display screen - my solution

Can't you just cast Plex to the Rivian while you are playing live TV content recorded by the hd homerun? I'm talking about the actual Plex app, not the trash Roku one.
  9. Casting HDHomeRun / IPTV to Rivian display screen - my solution

So, I have Plex running on a Synology DS918+ and a 4 tuner HD homerun on the network. The hd homerun is detected and setup in Plex as a liveTV source with an assigned channel guide. Content on the hd homerun (liveTV/OTA) is played from Plex as a media source. Serious question, is this not how...
  10. Casting HDHomeRun / IPTV to Rivian display screen - my solution

True, but I can stream HD-homerun content through Plex onto the car. What am I missing?
  11. “Not One Single Percentage Point” of Degradation" - F150 Lightning charged to 100% every night

Agree to disagree. But I'm going to err on the assumption that you aren't enough of an industry insider/engineer to know what every EV manufacturer is doing with their BMS.
  12. Casting HDHomeRun / IPTV to Rivian display screen - my solution

Timeout, why are you not just using Plex to cast and then accessing the hd homerun through the sexy Plex channel guide?
  13. “Not One Single Percentage Point” of Degradation" - F150 Lightning charged to 100% every night

Echoing this. Lithium Oo Echoing this. Lithium Ion hates being hot. But the only thing it hates more than being hot, is being full and hot.
  14. 2025.46 Update (Release Notes). OTA pushing out now!

I like you. @mkhuffman 2026 To-Do List 1. Refill grill propane 2. Take down holiday lights 3. Replace guest bathroom GFI outlet 4. Re-pin front door speakers on my $100k electric vehicle 5. Get milk
  15. “Not One Single Percentage Point” of Degradation" - F150 Lightning charged to 100% every night

It's either lying or the battery is over-provisioned. The latter is what I think every manufacturer should do. Imagine the buyer confidence if your could tell them the battery degradation isn't something they'll most likely see during their season of ownership.
