Very unlikely Rivian did anything. The physics are the physics. There really isn't much (probably nothing) that a software update could accomplish. Starting battery temperature and motor temperature can have a notable impact as well as the ambient environment, tire pressures, tire wear...
I made one myself. Took 3 tries. First two worked intermittently. Per Rivian mechanics, a lot of LED tailgate strips have too low electrical resistance and don’t work. On my third try i got a set of trailer lights and those worked.
Your drives are pretty short. I see variations over short distances but over longer distances it is very repeatable.
this data was taken over a 3 year time span and two different vehicles
Issue #1. Valid point. I’m not into music so I don’t care but I recognize it is a valid point.
issue #2. Partially valid. The front doors have a fully functional mechanical option on the inside like Gen 1. Back seats, not so much.
My take is the door handles and door locks are the worst...
I believe you misunderstood what I said.
Robots are very useful Putting them in humanoid form with over 100 degrees of freedom when a much simpler form factor with 10 or so degrees of freedom can do the job seems like a better solution with a much higher likelihood of success at a far...
Your vehicle might not be going to sleep. Make sure none of the seat belts are fastened and there is no weight on any seats.
Are you on the latest software version? A few months ago there was briefly a software issue preventing the vehicle from sleeping. That was fixed with a software push...
I've driven across Nebraska and Colorado 6 times using Electrify America exclusively with no issues what so ever. My fastest charging sessions are on EA 350 kw chargers. My personal experience with EA certainly does not match up with the rhetoric.
