Yeah I had this on my list to ask my guide. I'm getting no tonneau when mine is delivered (hopefully in a few weeks). I saw a tonneau for another truck that rolled back into a roll like a small carpet, and then had a strap that you pull to extend it wherever you wanted. I would prefer that to 4...
yes, I vowed to resist, but alas I could not. 2 big factors for me...one new friend on the forum pointing out that an upcoming trip would be far more doable with fast charging than I'd thought, and also just the environmental impact of another 1000lbs of battery when I won't need it 98% of the...
My wife is going to wonder what we're going to talk about from now on, but I pulled the trigger and decided to get the large pack.
No tonneau or spare, but everything else I wanted. I was on the fence about colors so got this badass one. Hopefully will have it in 4 - 8 weeks.
Hi all. I know there have been some posts on snow performance, but I'm curious specifically if folks have had experience stopping on a downhill. My neighborhood is at the top of a hill so to leave it in either direction, I have to come down some decent hills to stop signs on fairly busy roads...
This sums up my issue and why I feel compelled to wait for the Max. Where I live now in NJ, not too worried about charging infrastructure. But in about 2 years, I'm moving to SW Colorado. Loaded up with gear and a RTT, in cooler or hotter temps, on 20" ATs, perhaps pulling a small travel...
Your contributions on this thread are really painting the Seattle area in a lovely light! (motorcycle attempted theft, shitty roads, rain, pistol toting road rager)!!
I'm too lazy to listen. Did he imply max pack would be ready before 2024? I'm going to buy a new GMC Canyon in the meantime before my max pack is ready, even though I'm very tempted by some awesome builds in the R1T shop.
I got the email too. I'll peruse the shop, but I'm probably going to buy a 2023 Canyon AT4. I'll keep that for 12 - 18 months and when my max pack is ready, I suppose I'll buy the rivian and sell the Canyon. I'm sure I'm going to be tempted, but I want to hold out for the Max Pack and give...
I may put in in order for a 2023 Chevy Colorado ZR2 this week. Will probably take 3 months or so to get it. If I held out for Max Pack/Quad motor, I would get that let's say 2 years from now. At that point I'd sell the ZR2, probably lose $10k - $15k on the sale but would have had a pretty cool...
Oh well. This may be the end of Rivian for me. I'm going to buy a Colorado Z71 or ZR2 very soon. I'll keep the reservation for my quad motor max pack, but who knows if I will go ahead with it when available if I like the Chevy. It's just a truck. I drive a 2010 4Runner, so I will sell that and...
I have seen the yellow and I like it. I got a quick glimpse in person of limestone and have seen lots of pictures. I think the limestone might be a little too light blue for me. I prefer the more greenish version of that type of color, like the Bronco and some of the Toyotas now have.
Looks awesome. I'm tormented (and therefore my wife is, too) on color choice. Yellow. Forest Green. Black. Riv Blue. Limestone. El Cap.
I like all of those.
I guess you're right. that's really not a lot. I have 4 bikes on one of those racks with hooks along the wall. they weigh more than that, though the force angle is a bit different.
@bdavis171 do you keep the tent up there all the time when it is not in use? I've wondered how comfortable I would be having 200lbs hanging from the ceiling for weeks or months at at time.
could you provide a link as an example? I'm not sure I understand what that is. I'm keeping a separate note of all the accessories and other things to make life better that people are posting about. It's getting to be a long list!
