So true. One of the first questions that people ask me is "What's the range?" and they almost always reply with "Oh, that's too short for me". Then we talk and I try to get them to understand but there's been so much miss-information spread about EVs it makes it hard to get the facts across.
I've noticed this too living in the mountains and I suspect that the cell antenna on the Rivian is far superior to the tiny antenna on a typical cellphone thus allowing for better coverage.

I'm still on 2024.07.02. Perhaps the few that didn't get the last update will just skip to the next one. I thought about contacting support but I really don't need any of the new features.
I saw a post where someone said the OTA was paused until Friday. Not sure how long after that until everyone is updated but probably pretty quick since most already have the update.
I like the detailed instructions on how to find a charger. Sometimes they are really hidden.
