I guess all my griping about the dropped Explorer option and, therefore, making Quad unaffordable, was for naught. This price hike, at any rate, solidifies Quad's unaffordability. Dual it is! That is, until there's a price hike that pushes my desired R1S build north of $90K-ish. Then, I'll be...
I'm still stuck on "... hit me in my driveway". Sounds like DMV (District-Maryland-Virginia) region type stuff. It's hard to believe there's worse driving anywhere else. I wonder how much GEICO will charge for full coverage. I shudder to think!
I was just watching this video suggesting that DC Fast charging might, over time, reduce battery life and that charging at lower Kwh rates would be better. Is this true?
I wanted the Quad motors. I figured I could do Explorer to make that option easier on the budget. With that gone, Quad breaks the budget and it's back to dual. For what Adventure offers, IMO, isn't worth it. 800HP+ is!
If you're going to design in a glass roof, shouldn't it more capable, more tempered? And, if they're breaking IN THE SERVICE CENTER, doesn't that tell you something?
Yeah that "brakeless" driving was nice and the acceleration was awesome. With 600hp coming in the Rivian, I can only imagine what that's going to like.
What a coincidence! My car is in the shop and I got a chance to rent a Model Y just to see what EV life was like! My R1S reservation is just 3 months old. So, I'm no where near as close as you are. But, that Model Y did make me want to say, "Screw it!". With a potential delivery date of October...
I've got an R1S reservation that's only about 3 months old. So, nothing's been locked down yet. Nor has there been an assigned support rep. I was looking at an Explore Package with Quad. This change now makes that choice unaffordable! I sure hope they realize what they're...
I'm a new preorder nubie. As long as cargo space wasn't affected, I'd forego the third row seat for the max battery! I personally don't see the need for that seat.
