I was just watching this video suggesting that DC Fast charging might, over time, reduce battery life and that charging at lower Kwh rates would be better. Is this true?

There are several algorithms working in the background to minimize any plating within the batteries be it from DCFC or any other form of charging. Ultimately the best thing you can do is not charge it to 100% nor let it go below 10%. Its harder on the battery and will degrade its performance/capacity more than charging.

Also, battery tech has come a long way over the last decade. even over the last few years. Not to the point that decreasing capacity is a non issue, but I would say less of an issue.

Edit* I meant not regularly charge to 100% occasionally is ok.
