12V battery warranty ends at 36000 miles. If there is no 12V battery error, it is unlikely that the SC can tell him anything (although they might have records to show whether the batteries have been replaced). The only thing he can do is prepare to replace the battery(ies) when they fail or...
That's less than I thought it would be. Mine is cracked. There's big impact point - looks like a rock hit it. I've been considering what to do about it. My windshield also has various divots, and a crack. At some point I'll have to replace it. Maybe I'll spend the extra for protective film.
It's too damn tiny a font, and too far away. Move it to the driver's display, and make it larger. And make the SOC larger, too.
Wristwatch is not an acceptable option. Yes, I wear one, but can't read it at night without turning on a light. Any cheap (or high-end) entertainment system...
Probably one or the other of the connectors was slightly out of spec, causing a poor connection. USB-C, being reversible, gives you two bites at the apple - two chances to make a proper connection. That's my theory.
It sounds like something that I experienced a few weeks ago with my R1T (quad G1). I wasn't towing. I was just driving, with ACC on. It felt like it was switching between power and braking, and felt jerky. It was annoying, so I finally turned ACC off. The next drive seemed fine. Since then, I...
And then they apparently ended it early, with no indication. The countdown banner was still on the site, counting down, but I could not get the sale price when I tried to check out. I checked back - countdown was still showing, but after a few minutes the banner no longer showed. What kind of...
Service Center told me (yesterday) that they can't get parts for broken tonneau covers, now, and that they have no idea when (or if) parts will be available.
Have any of you, that are running Goodrich KO3 tires, tried higher pressures? I just had a set installed, yesterday, at Costco. Of course they set them to 48 psi. Since the KO3 tires have a maximum rating of 80 psi, I wondered if a higher pressure would be more efficient, yet still provide a...
I have gotten that same message four or five times (at least) in the last ten days or so (the pop up only lasts a few seconds). I haven't been offroad (or even on dirt roads) in quite awhile. Rivian originally scheduled me for a mobile appointment, but they canceled that and rescheduled for an...
My PTC hasn't worked since January. In fact it has only worked for about 8 months out of the ~28 months I've owned it. I'll be taking it in to the SC tomorrow for a suspension issue. I plan to talk to them about my PTC while I am there. At this point, they should cut their losses (and mine), and...
Yeah, if the compressor is running normally, the low side will be much lower than the high side. Automotive A/C isn't my area of expertise, so I don't know what would be typical pressures in an R1234yf system when operating.
However, according to the P-T chart, 90psi would be about +48F or +9C...
Your gauges are showing an equalized system - ~90 psi on the high and low side. I assume that your manifold valves are closed?
I don't know what refrigerant is used in the Rivian. What is the appropriate pressure for that refrigerant at ambient?
I think there is a thermal transfer liquid (antifreeze) that carries heat to/from the evap coil to the battery, motors, and probably to the cabin heat exchanger, too. Perhaps if this is low or empty, the compressor won't run - it may not actually be low on refrigerant. I'm not sure what the...
