Strange that it gets more noticeable in firm mode. There should be less movement over large bumps in firm, while soft will allow more movement of the wheels for a given bump. What happens when in All-Terrain mode and soft ride feel with the ride height in standard/high?
My Gen2 does seem to be quite sensitive to any voltage fluctuations (I had a dehumidifier running at the time of the screenshot and can see each time the compressor cycled in the charge rate graph as a ~1 minute dip), but generally stays between 9.5-10.4kW on my 48amp EVSE.
Has your fast charging performance changed after the most recent 2024.47.30 update? I saw the line in the release notes but won't have an opportunity anytime soon to see if there are any noticeable changes.
Was interesting to hear RJ comment on the squeaking noise from the Gen 1 suspensions being resolved by adding a reservoir into the system and that it was due to fluid moving through the lines. Guess that explains the fix with new lines that has been reported by some Gen 1 owners.

From what I have been told from service, this is drivers side only. I reached out to them when I noticed it did not work on the passenger side with my vehicle shortly after delivery.
I wish I could since, like you mentioned, most other things are. Sadly not all states allow it, even if mine did, driving out of state could be an issue, so I keep the paper copies to stay in compliance.
That is a bummer, with the lack of glove box and the center console drawer being open at the top, allowing items to fly out, the seat cubbies are the only real good option to store the legally required registration and insurance information in a reasonably accessible location aside from the...
Yeah, exactly. Automatic transmissions in ICE vehicles had clutches that needed to apply and would slip excessively if shifting while moving, but single speed drives like most EVs won't be bothered shifting at low speed. The force seen shifting from reverse to drive at 4MPH is nothing compared...
Yeah, most important thing is keeping SoC in that happy 40-70% range and minimizing time at the extremes.
The difference in battery stress between charging at 1.3kW and 11kW is basically nothing for 120+kWh pack, well under 1/10C. The main thing is charging efficiency, charging at 1.3kW is...
In the 3rd row, my lab is free roaming. It is closed in and padded enough they couldn't go flying through the cabin in the event of an accident, but am certainly looking into some of the harnesses that buckle in as they look more functional than previous solutions I've seen in the past.
We just finished a 7 day 1400 mile camping/road trip and had the hotspot fail a couple times in the same manor. Each time a reboot fixed it but still annoying. Had at least 6 reboots on the trip to fix various issues from the hotspot being unavailable, USB ports failing, charging not...
Our lab is generally nervous riding in the car but prefers the 3rd row with the 2nd row seats slid all the way back. Works as a more confined, padded, space and seems to have decent ventilation when the 3rd row vents are aimed properly.
Really sounds like something is shorting out a CAN bus, guessing either the sensor or some wires in the area are causing the short.
EDIT: Just refreshed and saw the answer above, was a pinched harness. Not good a harness in that area can take down such a critical bus.
Finally had a chance to do a loop up and down I-5. Looks like it was averaging about 2.34mi/kWh in Standard ride height at 70mph. There was some traffic but speed was fairly consistent on both legs. I expect the number to be a little lower on a perfectly open road but possibly offset some by...
I think I am getting a handle on the issue. It is most likely the push-to-unlock buttons under the front door handles, I think they are triggering randomly (like a floating input, aka wire disconnected) and when my phone is in proximity, it triggers the unlock.
This push-to-unlock feature...
Yeah, the changes to the search are nice. I've notice the wireless charging pad seems to be detecting my phone much better as well. We'll see if that was just a fluke when I tested earlier today or if it continues to work better.
Yeah, it keeps it from sleeping which causes the drain to be quite high. While sleeping the drain is very minimal but when awake it can go through a couple percent a day. I see it in my logging, overnight when it is not cycling and instead sleeping, it loses 0-0.1% charge, but during the day...
If I turn off Bluetooth on my phone it stops, but haven't played around with killing the phone app yet. I'll give that a try today.
No this has been going on since delivery, so last two updates.
Yeah, I did try that, also tried Off and disabling both keys individually but no luck. The...
