Anecdotal: Iphone 11 Pro, Pro Max, 13 Pro, and 14 Pro all with Apple branded silicone cases don't work well. Even on a slight curve on perfectly flat roads will just slide and stop charging. You can hear the charging "chime" every once in a while when it slides back to a spot where it can...
I actually like it a lot. Makes me wonder how they did it since it is pretty rough plastic.
I've always been a "painted panels" type of person on all my vehicles. I don't mind it in the Rivian since it makes it look tougher, but if I had a choice, I'd go with body color matched.
I haven't had my vehicle in service yet, but I wouldn't be surprised.
Tesla's been doing this for a while. They likely don't want you messing with the car remotely, or using the app/camera feature to look at stuff (I know Rivian doesn't support this function yet).
Those two pictured above will NOT work. They are not the correct wheel. Notice how the spokes are rounded and don’t extend flat toward the edge.
They are common Ram wheels but unfortunately not the ones you need.
For my set, I'm debating on NOT getting TMPS since it is for very occasional use.
Other than a possible warning light on my dash, is there anything else that would happen? I'm hoping it isn't a constant chime going off :P.
I think the load index is "126".
Goodyear Wrangler Trailrunner AT
LT275/65/R20
M+S
Made 7th week of 2023. Almost new.
It appears to say 126/123S
My use is for occasional (once every 2 months) of light off roading and twice a year of driving to Big Bear/Mammoth where they may be snow.
I've found some Goodyear Wrangler in 275/65/20 with a load rating of E.
Would that be a good option? Lots of used tires on FB Marketplace, but most of them are very old or worn.
There's a set of 4 ($99 each) from a lady in the Southern California (Palm Springs, Cathedral City) area. Not sure if she would be willing to ship. Was originally going to buy from her, but it is a 2+ hour trip for me and I was able to find a closer set.
I have the Ram 1500 wheels already. I have the 22" OEM wheels/tires now.
Are you saying when I purchase all terrain/snow tires, I should be looking at 275/60/20 vs. 275/65/20?
They appear to be correct (the wheels). The tire size is slightly different. OEM is 275/65/20. This one is 265/60/20. While it will likely "fit", I don't know that it would be correct. Someone else with more knowledge about diameter changes will have to answer.
I didn't go through the...
Thanks!!
Btw, there’s a set of wheels in the Palm Springs/Cathedral City, California if anyone is in the area. Appears to be in good condition. Wheels only. $99 each. Been talking to seller for a while but she’s pretty far Luckily I scored a closer set.
Yes, those look correct. But funny thing, mine doesn't have "2363" stamped anywhere. I do have a longer number (1DZsomething) that I saw referenced on this thread somewhere.
@Riviot - How close does the wheel get to the caliper on the front? Do you happen to have a picture?
After scouring FB Marketplace for a few days I scored a set! Drove an hour to the Los Angeles area and picked them up from a guy who only spoke Spanish. Paid $450. Was listed for $500. I probably could have gotten him to $400 but he was a nice guy so I was fine with it. Google Translate was...
Almost jumped on this one until I noticed the “cutouts” between the spokes. I now know the spokes are completely flat all the way to the edge. But gotta look out for small differences like this….unless this may fit?
Cutouts here.
