From the 18 pages of chatter on one thread and all of those owners hoping to see it by Xmas, I too thought it had been released. Then I realized it had only been spotted by some Tesla app on one Rivian.
I donāt know, but thinking about carrying around a backup battery for my R1T just doesnāt sit well. I wonder how many of all Rivians on the road have experienced this failure. I also have a ā21 Bronco Sport and there are a number of owners experiencing battery issues. My BS complains about low...
Thank you. I was on my phone and w/o access to the manual, and quite frankly wasnāt sure what to look up! The thought that it would be referred to as ājump startingā actually never occurred to me, although it does make sense.
Are these āpigtail leadsā the socket for the trailer plug or a separate set of leads back by the hitch? Trying to figure out what Iām looking or before sticking my head under my R1T.
All well and good until sometime next year you get a love letter from the IRS saying you owe them $7500 because they have no record of you (your SSN) purchasing an EV. Then the scramble begins. Using due caution, I would follow up on this and not ignore it.
We have a two hour ferry ride when we leave home and go to the mainland. We recently learned that our gps is clueless as to our location when we exit the steel enclosed ferry. The nav instructions are correct but the display has us a couple miles offshore routing through the ocean! A reset of...
I guess you have charged at higher rates at public chargers, but if not have you confirmed on your dash display that your Rivian is set to 48 amps? Since they use a lockout screw on the cover I am surprised s simple breaker reset doesnāt pick up the new dip switch settings.
Interesting thread. Weāve only had our R1T for a couple of weeks and only using Driver+ on the day we picked it up. Since we also have a Bronco Sport with Fordās 360-assist (I think thatās what itās called) I wasnāt bothered by it at all. But maybe thatās because I tested myself on a really...
Interesting. I just noticed mine was asleep before going outside and then when it woke up it was still in sport mode. Maybe overnight will reset it.
Also the untruth in the article, as we can both attest, is this statement:ā⦠because it resets to All-Purpose every time you exit the truck. ā
No I haven't seen anything, but that isn't something I pay attention to and unless I heard it from Rivian I probably wouldn't put a lot of faith in it.
It "looks" like the rest of the article is pretty accurate although I thought the Performance got you the 21" wheels and a few extra miles per charge.
The reason I wanted the Performance was for the reason they couldn't "quantify", the availability of the Soft Sand mode. I am a ranger on an...
Not to end the conversation, but I just tested my Dual Performance and once I set it to Sport Mode it stays there through Drive, Park, exit, allow to lock then unlock and drive. Even the app tells me it is Sport Mode.
Regarding the comment about FWD in All Purpose, it is AWD until around 20 mph...
