Well… except that as I was driving up a narrow street at night the dash display showed my vehicle AND 4 guys stepping into the street from my right that I couldn’t see. The display caught my eye only because it changed. Now if only it would spot deer for me…
I was thinking they chose that corridor for the Blue Ridge “adventure”. Weather permitting, we are going to take a side trip at Front Royal onto the Blue Ridge Parkway this January when we head south for a couple of months in our Sprinter camper.
NIce to hear they were all working and easy to use. I was curious that they seemed to choose the I-81 corridor for the initial concentration, although it will work for us next year when we plan to start taking our R1T to Florida from MA instead of our van.
After I did the integration I pulled up to a ChargePoint, tapped my phone, plugged in and it started charging. Seemed really simple but it was my first charge while I waited for Qmerit to install my home charger.
I’m also leaning towards this cover but I’m confused about the “OEM Tunnel Track”. Do we all have this track or was it part of the ordering process?
A final update... the Qmerit guy showed up this morning and installed our charger. Went smoothly although connecting via Bluetooth in order to set up the wifi connection took a bit of effort (meaning you need to follow the directions  ). Start the Rivian app, click the menu, add gear...
Just took my R1T through MA inspection. While I'm waiting my turn it occurred to me that if I didn't leave my phone in the truck the inspector couldn't inspect it! We only use our phones but do carry the card for backup, but the thought of trying to explain the use of the card gave me a...
So it appears Alexa is the one playing dumb here, not the Rivian nav. I don’t use Alexa, but during my short experience find the nav and traffic to be pretty good.
Since he received the free charger and installation he ordered in November and took delivery from stock inventory as did we. Once your order is confirmed you will get the Next Steps email in a day or two.
Sounds exactly like our delivery experience (with no dings I’ve noticed), right down to...
I think they’ve done a good job. We just took delivery but had a number of small reasons to deal with customer service and all were good.
But I gotta say, being annoyed that your proximity sensor trips when you walk into your garage seems a bit overboard… unless you have a really big garage ;).
Up here in New England we’re “frugal” and sweat the small stuff so we can enjoy the big stuff . Picked up our R1T today outside Boston and loving it.
