I was all set with a local guy to install a charger but waived him off when I found Rivian would give me a charger and have Qmerit do it for free. Tough to beat.
I’d be really careful about accepting the quote when you know it’s wrong. Check the fine print in the freebie offer because I think I saw you agree to pay overages if problems arise. A full box means a subpanel will be required assuming your service can support it.
My case is a bit unusual because the Qmerit qualified installer is a ferry ride away. Their quote came in pretty close to the $2K including the ferry trip, but I had already pulled the cable for a local electrician who I waved off when the free offer popped up.
The point of my saga is that...
Yes. I have accepted an installation quote snd they just shipped my charger. You have to have signed your purchase agreement before they will process your application. I also chased after customer service via email to get my installation quote moving and again for shipping the charger. In both...
I think their people and computer workflow systems are running at the max. I ordered from stock, ordered a charger, found out my local power company would only pay for a different charger, and then I took advantage of the free charger offer for buying from stock. Between my guide and the support...
Just curious why you would remove it. It’s pretty much a universal charger that appears nicely installed and no doubt cost a bit for that nice job, and then you need to patch the mounting holes! :)
We could have picked up a used quad with 13k miles for $75k but opted for the performance dual from the store for $84k believing dual is the future and a half second unimportant. Then they gave us the charger and installation.
Well, in the find print they say you need to pick it from available inventory and confirm the order. It sounds like you did that before Nov 16th.
it doesn’t seem to matter much because those of us who did confirm an in stock purchase can’t get the offer because the registration form doesn’t work!
It varies by state so ask your guide how to handle it. In Massachusetts the dealer and insurance agency need to trade paperwork on new vehicles. I just provided my guide with the agency’s contact info and they will handle it the day before my pickup date.
About to order the Chargepoint Home Flex. I have to return the Rivian that was just shipped because I learned my power company will cover $700 of the Chargepoint purchase and installation but the Rivian does not qualify. I also see there is a fed tax credit of 30% of the purchase and...
I was just about to start a similar thread - glad I did a Search first!
We have a Sprinter van camper we take to Florida for 7 weeks every winter. It lives in our barn and we take it out for a ride every 6 weeks or so. If longer than six weeks we have a bit of a mild thump-thump until the...
My wife and I are ready to order an R1T but scheduling a test drive at the Boston area service center is a full-day trip for us even if they had open slots. We are hoping one of the dozen of so R1T's we see driving around the island is represented on this board and that they would be willing to...
