When Tesla declined to take a lease back after my dad passed, I had zero regrets setting the charge limit to 100 and never looking back for the next 10 months. (This was during the pandemic when they could have made an easy 10-15k reselling it)
It is nice to treat things well generally but I...
I'd post my code too but with my luck 25 people would use it and I'd be stuck on a sweet weekend with a bunch of influencers ?. No offense meant, please keep up the testing and reviews, I'm just... camera shy.
I wonder if this will be expanded to smaller things like test drives given for 5...
Glad you made it out connected with a friendly Jeep!
Hope Lowe's didn't complain too much when you returned the muddy gravel. Make sure to leave a 2 star review due to the scratches ;)
When I picked up my truck I got tow straps, soft shackles, and a kinetic rope as mentioned above. Due to our...
My first thought was to get a Cybertruck, then sledge that wedge down under the tires for traction. Drive right up and over the windshield to safety.
Alternative: use the windshield wiper as the stick in the tractor video
Typically no issue with speed ratings in my experience. That's more on you to not be stupid about. But that's based more on my wildly underrated winter tire purchasing which they understand is different.
For instance my wagon's top speed is 186mph. Even V rated snow tires would be shy of that...

More Jalopnik headlines. Unsurprised they dropped the lowest model and raised prices again.
I voted for $0 in todays dollars, but probably 5000 in 2044 dollars.
I based this estimate off of the pile of old computers in my storage unit collecting dust beside another old broken car. 20 years is a very long time, 10 years would be a more challenging question.
Also,
if anyone is looking for the bed dimensions, don't trust the official Rivian 54" depth unless you are staying under the cover but above the flip up gooseneck section. Really 51"* from the tonneau gasket to the flip up part. (Which can be removed with a T30 for an extra inch with the...
The tape has its end locked up and down on the back of the slat so I don't think I'll be able to get it out without removing a bit since not enough flex in the slats (without the 2nd slat sucking it in past the point of no return)
Luckily I'm not the first to adventure here. Thanks @Lil'O...
Well, this one is totally my fault.
Was trying to verify the bed dimensions and pressed the wrong button only to have my tape quickly sucked into the bed storage pocket and now I have no idea how to get it out without breaking something.
It's also too hot to touch right now
Will be a fun...
Hmmm, this happened to me the first time last week, I figured it was a big and didn't bother reporting it yet.
After 10 min or so of continued driving the speed came back but fixed at 57mph regardless of actual speed.
Pro tip, engage cruise control and that will tell you your current speed...
@FormerCyberTruckOwner
Welcome! I echo a lot of what was said above about Rivian still being new but generally great.
Do you mind sharing why you didn't test drive an R1T before buying a Cybertruck? I was lucky to test drive a Lightning and R1T back to back years before the Cybertruck was...
More of a bug, less of a quirk. It also later said 57mph for about 15 minutes whether I was going 30 or 60+. Had to enable cruise control to check my speed.
