The original dual 12v battery setup was way too complex and a nightmare for technicians. A revision of the electrical architecture was overdue from the get go. The new architecture should increase reliability and help cut manufacturing costs.

Yup, my October 2022 build has the same issue. It sounds like the entire front end is going to fall off the truck when I go over speed bumps. Very annoying for such a premium priced vehicle.

Congrats! Did you know that Rivian is shutting down their assembly plant for retooling next month? The R1’s will receive many improvements including a totally revamped electrical architecture.

I’m am confident new colors are on the way.

Rivian needs to build the assembly plant at the speed of Tesla.

Pay Tesla a $13 month membership fee and get the same rates at Tesla owners OR pay a 30% kWh premium to charge.

The R2 needs to be a bonafide home run for Rivian. Pricing and range appear to be spot on.
