Smart financial decision. Check out this CarMax offer regarding a 3k mile Cybertruck.

Resale values are definitely heading downward. Today this 9400 mile 2022 R1T sold for $60,500 + a 4.5% buyers fee.
The Cars & Bids owner predicts $50’s for the R1T in roughly a year.

Bad experience at CM service center as well. I had two panels adjusted because they were out of alignment. The one panel was adjusted worse then when I dropped it off.
Very frustrating to say the least. I don’t feel that anyone is performing QC before returning vehicles to customers.
We stress when taking road trips in our Rivian R1T.
We are relaxed when taking round trips in our Tesla Model Y.
The Tesla Supercharging experience is vastly superior. Back in, plug in and walk away. No CC's, PIN numbers, etc.
You can’t blame Tesla. They are simply tapping into demand by targeting affluent reservation holders who have no qualms forking over $100k - $120k to be a first adopter.
The $80k AWD and $100k CyberBeast “normal” versions sold to “normal” reservation holders will probably happen in Q2.
The Tesla Cybertruck is rumored to receive 10k reservations per week since the production reveal on 11/30.
The Cybertruck will keep the Austin assembly line and the future Mexico assembly plant humming along for many, many years. There is clearly a demand for the polarizing Cybertruck.
3mm is incorrect.
Tesla uses 1.8mm (door skins) and 1.4mm HFS (Hard -ucking Steel) stainless steel panels for the Cybertruck.
For reference a US quarter is 1.75mm thick.
Thanks to a new proprietary SS formula designed by their material science engineers they were able to thin down the concept...
I don’t think it would be too hard for an aftermarket company to offer a more aggressive front end kit judging by this R1T that suffered collision damage.
My guess is the kit would be a minimum of $5k due to totally new new headlights, front fascia, etc.
