You aren't criticizing at this point.
You are in disbelief it seems and require further evidence.
I don't need any further reviews to prove usefulness of strong body panels and faster charging or a quicker rack. Basic benefits.
Your mistrust of Tesla and bias shows through. I'm here to discuss...
Dude get a grip. I talk about features of the truck that are good, you say they aren't real because you won't accept any info that's out there. Okay buddy, believe what you want, won't change anything. 350kw charging, strong body panels, rear steer, short turn rack - these aren't opinions. They...
I enjoy some of your posts on here, but on this topic there is no hope for you. I don't care who "likes it" which includes you.
Only concerned with facts. If Rivian dropped 350kw charging, rear steer, 300+ mile range for $80k we'd be pumped.
Good luck on the hate train.
Let's be honest here?
You didn't watch the same videos I did where they hit the Cybertruck with a sledge hammer? Of course we KNOW it's tougher than an R1T. My gear tunnel door bent while using it gently. And we KNOW how many turns lock to lock it is. We KNOW the charging rate. Your response is...
As a R1T owner, I've already dented the body twice on accident and I regularly hear about glass cracking easily. My own windshield has a crack starting from a tiny chip already.
The Cybertruck is tough!! This is a huge asset in a truck and my favorite part of the CT. Why is this so overlooked...
Nice report, great to see the R1T put through it's paces (48k miles wow!).
I also really wanted a dual R1 garage, but instead we have a smaller EV (Model 3) and the combo works really well. If we head to a spot with tight parking, it's a relief not to take the pickup. I think you made a good...
Passengers are more forward, so smaller frunk makes sense. More rear leg room and more bed length a result.
Saw one in person the other day. Pretty neat looking ride. Glad it exists, even though I don't want one. Tesla is one of the few companies having fun out there.
Come on, an ICE is way more intensive to maintain than an EV. Maybe you had a bad experience with your EVs - but it wasn't maintenance.
Just the idea of regular oil changes, annual emissions testing, and regular fuel visits makes me really appreciate the simplicity of an EV (and that's excluding...
Some orange peel is totally fine and acceptable, but OP is showing some significant roughness on that front fender. I'm glad Rivian is willing to try and improve it for them.
He had some damage from shipping and there are reports of the plastic parts breaking. Probably still a decent product but not worth buying to resell if you like your current cover imo.
Let's look at the doomsday topics in the press related to EVs
- GM cancelling their stated goals of 100k more BEVs this year and 400k next year. (makes sense with the strikes and delay of product launches for BEVs that people want)
- Ford pushing out their 12B investment in EVs, citing low...
I don't believe GM was ever going to produce/sell what they claimed (400k BEV next year).
They failed to launch the products that would be required to meet these numbers.
Where's the $30k Equinox EV and the Silverado EV and the Denali EV? We got the new Blazer, barely launched even now, and weak...
The recent suspension update pushed the R1T to an area of "softer than I'd like" for most situations. Now I'm using Firm more often to better control the truck. I wish we had a "Mid" setting that was a bit more composed, like the "old Soft".
I typically keep ride height fixed at Standard, but...
Long term these things are great news for Rivian.
Many R1T preorder holders also had a CT/Silverado EV order. Maybe this pushes more people over the Rivian.
GM is now walking back all of their EV production targets and they are BLAMING LOW DEMAND!? Wow, a company that is failing to produce...
