  1. Has anyone gotten the 2025.46 Update yet? Please tell us your location and date you received.

Rivianroamer.com is a good source of showing the status of software update rollouts. They are showing 0% rollout so I’d be surprised if any non-beta (very special) updates have happened
  2. 2025.38.30

.38 was the October release…that’s even weirder 2025.46.xx is the November release
  3. Rivian Reward Program devalued again

I think you skipped directly over my point. Referring yourself is not the goal of a referral program for a company. And so you had free money handed to you. Now if you had gone out and found somebody that didn’t know about Rivian and helped convince them to buy, then you would have legitimately...
  4. Rivian Reward Program devalued again

I mean, if you think about it, that’s potentially a large cost for Rivian, so I get them wanting to cut it back. You can’t expect them to keep the exact same rewards program forever. it’s literally just free money. I’d venture to say that most people are not actually “referring” people to buy a...
  5. <rant> Service communication lacking woefully

while I would’ve liked to have gotten a Rivian loaner, the Service Center has 15 and they were all being used. I can’t be too upset that they don’t keep more than 15 around (as that is a lot of overhead). Giving free charging is a gimmick on Telsas part imo. I don’t expect a company to pay for...
  6. <rant> Service communication lacking woefully

I scheduled an appointment for routine service to be completed yesterday. The request was for a State Safety Inspection and to have the wiper blades replaced. As part of the scheduled service, there were two recalls that were added to the appointment. About 2-3 hours after dropping my vehicle...
  7. National Parks - those that impressed you unexpectedly

I’ll second Canyonlands and also add Crater Lake. I knew Crater Lake was going to be beautiful but didn’t quite know how awe-inspiring it was going to be. Absolutely breathtaking.
  8. Plug & Charge with Electrify America and IONNA - coming in next update

Ok, but not something for Rivian to implement except at RAN locations. Rivian is dependent on the operators of the charging locations to have a means to get that data
  9. Plug & Charge with Electrify America and IONNA - coming in next update

I’m not discounting it may be an issue, but not one software like this can solve. Unless there is some kind of queueing system built and only lets the next person in the queue use an available charger. Then the map could integrate with that data. Otherwise, to comment it won’t be included is a...
  10. Plug & Charge with Electrify America and IONNA - coming in next update

Well yeah. How would you expect them to get that data? Satellite imagery?
  11. Anyone annoyed by the Courtesy Swipe?

oh goodness, please don’t ever connect wipers to anything but something physical on the vehicle. I can just see it now “I got into a wreck because I couldn’t see out of the windshield…turns out the GPS didn’t think it was raining enough”
  12. Anyone annoyed by the Courtesy Swipe?

This. If it’s an added feature, I want to see when it was added and want to know why my vehicle doesn’t do it. I’m a Connect+ member and get the OTA releases generally on the first day they are publicly available.
  13. Anyone annoyed by the Courtesy Swipe?

If you only talked to somebody on the phone, I wouldn’t take that as “official”. I don’t disagree that the wipers turn on sometimes when it is not raining, but it’s not a “perfectly clean” windshield. Until I see it in the owners manual or a release note, I’m chalking it up to one of two things...
  14. Anyone annoyed by the Courtesy Swipe?

All I can tell you is that I’ve had my R1S for just shy of 1 year, every single day of it with the windshield wipers on auto and the only time they engage is when there is something detected on the windshield. You may want to probe more to get the sensors looked at. Because that is not actually...
  15. Anyone annoyed by the Courtesy Swipe?

No, no there is not. This is likely a situation of a dirty windshield triggering the sensors. If you live in an area with lots of pollen, bugs, or leaves, the wipers will turn on to attempt to clear them, but if your windshield is clean and debris free, the wipers will NOT turn on.
  16. Just fix the software

I don't disagree with you. What I think often needs to be looked at here though is environmental factors and user behavior. We are trying to troubleshoot problems that are being reported on forums so we are not able to look at this as empirically as we would like to, but what are the...
  17. Just fix the software

I guess I get the luxury of having been a software engineer and knowing that what you all think should be easy to fix and “just do it” stuff is never that easy. I really do believe this is a vehicle by vehicle problem. As I mentioned, my vehicle has had nearly no glitches to speak of. There...
  18. Just fix the software

It’s so interesting to read takes like yours. Because I’ve had my R1S almost a year and have never had any of the problems you mention. I’ll be the first one to admit there is still plenty of room for improvement, but for as advanced and data-heavy as the software is in a Rivian, it performs...
