My R1S still loses 2-3 miles per day with a battery tender via OBD port, BUT, the tender has reduced vampire drain significantly. Without battery tender, and my R1S in storage, first two charging sessions were 20 and 19 days apart (drain 50% to 20%, charge back to 50%). Plugged in tender a while...

Left home wit 100% charge. Travelled 206 miles to the first charging stop. Arrived with 38% charge left. Driving in All Purpose mode, standard height. I do keep my R1S speed at 65 for the most part, but that is because I am never in a big fat hurry to get anywhere on long trips.
