From AMCI website
Most of AMCI Testing’s work is behind the scenes, because our clients are almost always major automotive manufacturers looking for a critical and truthful evaluation of their own product vs. the competition.
My guess is a manufacturer (perhaps Toyota) paid them to create a...
1 mile per kWh is very low. I have had my S less than a week and I have averaged 1.6. Many owners are are getting near 2 on 20s. I have spent a fair amount of time sitting in it with heating on without driving while I learn how to use the user interface.
One small interval data point is not a...
UPDATE
A day late and a little waiting around in Bellevue while they replaced rear bumper that was scratched.
It was a nice sunny day for first drive. My 15 year old son was blown away by all the tech. We spent an hour in the driveway going through all the menu options, though I still feel...
UPDATE
I called Guide again today repeatedly without leaving voicemail.
Surprised when a few minutes later he called to say he’d noticed my missed calls.
I told him he missed my texts and voicemails since Wednesday and he found them in the logs and apologized.
Anyway, I managed to get a...
Did anyone else get a message that looks like it might be from Rivian but is actually from proof.com that asked to click on link to get a document notarized?
If you believe this failure was a safety issue you can report it to the government (NTSB, I think). If it is indeed a dangerous defect it may result in a recall, which will benefit all of us in the long run.
I know the wait is no big deal. This 2 days of silence is what is bugging me.
Good thing I had completed all the purchase tasks. If someone had texted back yesterday that no slots were available I would have been happy. This sloppy customer service model is disconcerting though. What is...
I have a delivery date set up for Tuesday 11/07. Financing went quicker than expected. All pre-delivery steps are complete. R1S is ready for delivery. I would like to try to get a sooner delivery time.
I have been trying to contact Guide West support by multiple texts and phone calls since...
It certainly is interesting that the trend line is such a different shape.
I take delivery of S very soon and will be able to record similar data for my trips between Seattle and Whistler.
Nearly every other vehicle I have looked at lately has a sacrificial rear plastic panel with boundary that extends from wheel arch to tail lights.
Rivian appears to have made a rookie mistake with the side panels.
My wife and I love the OP. Thanks for sharing.
Maybe we’ll do that trip soon. Our S should arrive in a week or two.
Hopefully a good charging option will come to Port Angeles soon. Often we explore the north end only.
Thanks
I switched to 20s from 21s to give me the option to do what you have done. I will run the ATs this winter to assess whether I am comfortable with them in PNW conditions.
