The service is the achilles heel of Rivian…sadly. They need to start working on the weeknd’s or they will never catch up. They simply dont have that luxury when we the owners are forced to wait months for an appt and then go weeks without the car.

I have been vacationing in Sunriver and Bend, Oregon for over 30 years. It is an outdoor mecca with any activity you want including excellent and very scenic off roading. Had tons of fun with my Jeep there over the years and now my R1S.

All valid points especially the service syndrome as it is horrible. To me, the only real bad thing about owning Rivian but it is bad. They should have opened up more service centers before they sold so many cars.

It is a wide car for sure and a bit annoying when parking in public places. The cameras help but parking my Chevy Volt was a non-event compared to parking the R1S. It is a very deliberate and mindful task.

Don’t need the sales part……just the service to prevent getting scheduled 4 months out for repairs and then get canceled and delayed another month. This is deplorable for a $30K car much less a $100K vehicle.
