Not sure I explained good enough. I am talking about comparing the 15 minute graph to the details you see when “clicking” on the trip counter. Do the trip counter details also get cut off or max out at 4.01 mi/kwh?
Trip counter is under “Settings/About” where there are counters for “Trip A”...
I am curious. If you do a section of road where you reach this maximum on the 15 minute graph what do the trip details show? Obviously, you actually probably exceeded 4.01; so do trip details show 4.01 or something greater.
Of course, you would have to reset the trip details immediately...
Thanks. I don’t often use conserve. That was my first significant trip with an EV; so I used conserve just to begin learning about my R1S and it’s capabilities. That trip showed me range anxiety is a non-issue for me.
Have been trying other things learning what the vehicle can do, but still...
Thank you for a real answer as opposed to what some others do in these forums.
I see there is no one best choice unless trying to select for one specific property.
Making a selection favoring one property (corrosion, hardness, machinability, etc) usually results in a reduction in some other...
On the screen where you select the drive Mode there are 3 toggles bottom center of the screen. The one labeled “Stability” is traction control, I believe.
Very interesting to hear your experience with the stainless DeLorean. I am no metallurgy expert, but I am aware there are many different types/grades of stainless steel.
Could it be there is a type/grade that is impervious to rusting? Is it possible that in the DeLorean’s day no stainless...
Thank you. Much appreciated.
I happen to have bought the same wheels except semi-gloss. So far I just swapped the OE Pirelli ATs to the new wheels. I intend to get better tires when I wear these out, but have not decided which yet.
Although range is not now as big a concern for me as it was...
Would you mind providing more information on your wheels and tires?
Do you have any tire rubbing?
What pressure did you air down to, and what do you think is lowest safe pressure for your tire/wheel combination?
My mistake.
I was aware that no present adapters work on existing Tesla Superchargers, but I thought you were talking about Level 1 and 2 chargers.
Since I have never owned a Tesla I was not familiar with “v1”, “v2”, etc.; but I guess I am now. Does that mean that the “Magic Dock” chargers...
? I do the same and find this to be most satisfying when I enter at slower speed staying in the accel lane until someone comes along at freeway speed then put it to the floor quickly passing them to enter the driving lane 8-10 car-lengths ahead of them.
So true! If you actually understood what he is wanting and why you would not be talking about “cover the brake” with the left foot.
No matter … what is your objection to adding a choice to turn regenerative braking off? Adding that would not interfere with you or anyone else not using the...
Why would you ever experience "range anxiety" if you know how to achieve 3.6 mi/kwh on a 90 mile trip?
I realize that you were following behind a truck that cannot exceed 70 mph, but still ... ??
I have never reached 3.6 mi/kwh even for a 15 min. trace. The best I have done so far is 2.79...
I am in favor of an optional on/off button.
Optional means if you don’t want it just don’t activate it, and continue using the vehicle as you always have been.
Optional also means if you do want it you can activate it, and begin using the new feature.
Being optional means there should be...
Obviously, you did not really understand what @Zoidz and I were talking about in our back and forth discussion. I don't look down on any of you for not understanding as I am certain each of you can probably discuss things that would be "over my head" as well. @Zoidz and I may have gotten a...
There may not be any “mechanical” reason, but I am guessing that it would not reverse motor rotation if you tried to shift at that speed. I am certain Rivian has that locked out above some relatively slow speed because trying to reverse motor rotation at high speed would generate immense stress...
