Are you able to share any insight into the DC-DC converter architecture and capacity? In particular, if one were to theoretically add a third larger 12V battery for short-term high-draw loads, what type of charge rate for that accessory 12V system could be sustained from the DC-DC converter?

This is not true. The Amazon exclusivity clause only applies to the last-mile delivery van variant. Rivian has a whole slew of different van variants planned that are not bound to Amazon. This was outlined in depth in Rivian’s S1 IPO filing doc.
