I just traded in my 2022 R1T with 52k miles and got 38k for it at a Cadillac dealer. KBB was showing an average trade in value of 40k, but mine had a cracked windshield and worn out tires.
I saw this issue, and also for a few days would get Unable to Authorize messages and it would no work at all. There would be no way to log in or out. I was always seeing Slow Internet messages also.
I traded in my R1T 2 days ago, so no longer have to deal with this issue.
I actually traded my R1T for an Escalade IQ Sport today. My wife has been wanting a three row SUV to haul grandkids in, and I found a really good deal on one. My R1T had too many irritating software issues, the latest being that Rivian told me phantom braking in Driver+ was "normal". My...
They did install some new L2 Shell Recharge units at the Westgate Tanger Outlets, and I believe those are actually still working. They replaced some old ChargePoint units by the Carls Jr. Those were never part of Volta.
Edit: The old Shell Recharge units at Westagate are still open, but under...
Shell does install some 50kw DC chargers in a similar cabinet. but they have a CCS connector and a 30 minute limit. The L2 chargers near me have a 3 hour limit, but they are free.
That is one of the old Volta L2 chargers, that got taken over by Shell Recharge. Under that cabinet is a simple L2 charger that looks just like one you would install in your garage. Volta used to have paid advertisements on those large cabinets.
My batteries also got replaced at 38k miles. Got a message in the app. Fortunately Rivian replaced them under warranty for me, even though I was slightly beyond the 36k miles.
Yes, I still have mine and love it. Mine is the truck, not the SUV. They did a suspension update recently that improved the ride a lot, but if someone test drove a 26, it probably already had that improvement.
GM still has volume and favorite buttons on the back of the steering wheel. I want more controls on the wheel for cruise control, like all my other cars. Still missing pause and resume features, just as an example.
Exactly this. I hate charging my Hummer at Tesla stations, peak rate is about 180kw, and that is only if it is not hot out. At an EA or EVGO station it is still charging at 180kw at 80%.
Ionna, BP Pulse and Walmart have all deployed 400KW chargers. Tesla only has one charger in the US that supports more than 450V, just one. And that one is only open to Teslas at this time.
I just got the email today for my 22 R1T. I have a phantom braking issue with Driver+ that I have been ignoring, so maybe I will schedule both of those now.
Mine fails frequently with Slow Internet or Unable to Authenticate messages. During these times my FM radio can turn itself off or switch stations on its own. I also loose wheel Torque displays on the gauges page.
A soft reset fixes it for a while, then these issues return. Even happened prior...
I agree the Rivian implementation is lacking. I have google natively in my Hummer and it has the alternate route planning as well as having ALL charging networks. When a new charger comes on line it shows up in google in less than 2 weeks. The alternate routes also indicate battery savings, or...
GM just updated the Hummer with a new 4 wheel steering mode, called king crab. The rear steering gain becomes 2x the front gain. They already had gain changes in different modes, but the highest gain was 1.2x previously.
Ford and GM allow you to take temporary control also. Ford actually has hands on auto-steering everywhere, and then hands free on mapped highways. It transitions smoothly between those two modes. GM currently drops auto-steering on non-mapped roads, but they are adding the hands on steering...
