The estimates are based around low speed driving. I'm sure any Rivian can hit its advertised range at 40-50mph. But they aren't highway figures. I am sure the Tri Max has better range than the quad. Lower numbers could be explained by colder weather or just Rivian changing the formula for the...

I would say that the individual vehicle's history is more important than its build date. Is it a borderline lemon that was in and out of the service center every couple months, or has it made it 10k-20k miles with no mechanical issues? If so, it's a winner. I feel real lucky with our April-ish...

Another potential problem with the earliest builds was the double 12V batteries, which changed to a single 12V battery plus a capacitor sometime in early 2023.

I mean, yeah, the perception is that you're the kind of person who spends $100k on a vehicle (or at least $75k). For lots of folks that alone gives an impression of you as rich and dumb. I think my friends might think that about me now. I agree with them, but I love my Rivian.
