As others have confirmed, this is true. Also, sigh. UWB works way better. Not a little better. A LOT better. And given how flaky PAAK is, this is going to be a big improvement. Perhaps read the prior comments. It uses UWB and is far superior in security and reliability than PAAK.

I haven't been able to come up with anything approaching a logical explanation, so I appreciate your musings! Mostly though I was thinking how annoying it would be to have that happen during travel/routes with which I'm not familiar. I would've followed it blindly.

Maybe a dumb question but can these be used in 'pass through' mode? E.g. plug a sump pump into this, and this into AC outlet. So the AC keeps the Jackery charged, and if power goes out, the Jackery powers the sump pump (until the Jackery is drained of power)? And otherwise power passes through...

Thanks for confirming that BT audio will still work. Re: tethering...I don't know. If it provides the exact services that Connect+ does but avoids a $15/mo payment it sure seems like a workaround to me :)

That's a weird sort of workaround. Is that now in lieu of regular old BT audio, which I currently use to listen to Apple Music and Podcasts from my phone? Or will I still be able to do that?

Sigh. I'm torn. I assume plain old BT audio will continue to function (?) so I'll just use that.

Sorry if I missed it, but is there a setting to default the Nav system not to include charging on the way home, where I have a charger? I found where I can Remove the charging stop in the route, but would prefer it to default not to charge (or ideally default to "not to charge if I'll get home...

Really happy for Rivian. Missed these updates by a couple months but still very happy with the crazy deal I got on my R1S, and look forward to leasing another in 34 months :)
