120v outlets won’t stay on

Hope this is the right place for this.

Our power is out and like the last few times, I’ve run extension cords out to the 120v outlets in the bed of my R1T to power my fridge and freezer. But this time the outlets keep turning off.

And since you can’t turn them on from the app, I have to run out to the truck constantly to turn them back on. I’ve set them to stay on for 1 day and have the truck in Stay On mode in the camping tools. Then I turn off the displays.

is there something else I need to do? They only stay on for a few minutes.

am I pulling too much power? Would using the 120v outlet in the gear tunnel make any difference for spreading the load?

They are being overloaded and tripped off most likely. Do you have a method of measuring the power drain?

I was figuring the same. It seemed to handle whatever we threw at it last time the power went out, so we added a few more things this time. Looks like I hit the sweet spot last time and had to back down to just that this time. Seems to be holding now.

If it took a while for you to try to restore power to the fridge and freezer, they could both need to run longer cycles than normal. I was going to suggest letting the fridge run through a full cycle, and then plug the freezer in so they wouldn't be both running at the same time.
