Yea, I've heard nothing about a recall to fix this issue and my truck was definitely produced before Nov 22. Something to add to my list of random little stuff to eventually get the SC to fix once they open more SCs in this area

My SEP 2022 manufactured truck was in for unrelated service last month and they retrofitted the C-pillar during that visit.

Yes, it was done to mine 2 weeks ago and had been added to the tickets beforehand.

Maybe the R1S C pillar or seat placement is a different design than the R1T on the interior. I'd guess that would be the case since there's the cargo area behind the C-Pillar in the R1S and different structural requirements for the SUV vs the truck. Or it could be that it wasn't tested and Rivian doesn't want to fix something that may not be broken.

It is really surprising how large the gap is between the headrest in the rear seat and the start of the side curtain air bag. Looking at the photo, it is not surprising that the rear passenger's head would impact the C pillar. I must say that I am disappointed.
