The new "soft" ride is definitely "different". My R1S feels much smoother now in that mode and road imperfections are less noticable. However, it feels like potholes or bigger bumps unsettle the R1S more in this mode. I get the feeling that I will use soft on highways and stick to the medium setting in town...

It reflects what is shown in the app. Go to the app, tap the miles, and the display will change to percent. Then the widget will show the same.

I would be happy with them adding Apple Music!! If we can’t get CarPlay

CarPlay and Waze (or Google Maps). Then I’ll shutup about CarPlay.


That being said, I got the update last night. I’m really looking forward to driving later this evening.

Watching the gear guard adventure really makes me want video entertainment options . Looked pretty good on that screen with sound coming from the Meridian system. I don't even care if they charge for it take my money!

Moderate is a strange term to be used between soft and stiff. It should be called 'firm'.
But seriously, since Rivians are adventure vehicles, they should just let users name them; I shall call mind; Powder, Crunchy, and Crust

I had to turn off my iPhone off and then back on again. Make sure you have the latest Rivian app updated in your iPhone as well as the latest Rivian software update on car. Should be there after that

I have the latest Android phone and I received the Rivian phone software update days before I received the EV OTA update.

My 30 minute drive to work on I-5 in Orange county was awesome on moderate. Great combination of comfort and control. Keep up the good work Rivian.

I turned on the Moderate when leaving work last night. The area I work in is covered in railroad crossings, and BAD roads. Within 1/2 mile I had to turn it back to Soft.
