2024.19.06 new update release notes

My R1T was delivered on 4 June with version 2024.11.03 installed, and this is, or more accurately, will eventually be, my first OTA update. I got the notification to update two days ago, but have been delaying installing it, mostly because the truck is working fine with with the version it was delivered with and I want to make sure we can get back home from where we are now.

The notification references 2024.19.04 but this thread seems to indicate that Rivian has already moved to version .06. Should I wait to install until I get a notification for v.06? Or is it the case that there are different versions that pushed to owners based on VIN or some other criteria?

Not all of the point changes (.04,. 05,.06, etc...) are applicable to all vehicles due to minor differences in hardware and, therefore, won't necessarily be pushed to everyone. Install the version offered.

Had version 19.04 from last week and it was a nice update to suspension settings on my R1T. I installed .06 last night. Whoa! Maybe it’s just me, but it sure seems like something changed in my All Purpose ride mode. It’s as if the Soft setting completely disappeared. On some of the crappier roads around here, where the Soft mode had a clear advantage, there now doesn’t seem to be a noticeable difference between Moderate and Soft. Everything seems stiff. Hmmm. I will give it some more time, but for now, I’m a bit concerned. Anyone else notice this?

After installing the .06 version , I am noticing higher phantom / vampire battery drain: noticing it parking in garage ( 18-20 miles approx in last 24 hour ) . I hadn't seen this kind of drain earlier. Anyone else see this behavior.

R1S : Gen 1 Standard dual motor 21” wheels

Update 7/8 : the battery drain has stopped looks like( no significant drain in last 24 hrs ) not sure why or how.

Is it just me or are the vents all screwed up AGAIN? Every once in a while I'll get in the truck and the vets are pointing in totally different directions like happened over a year ago.

Changing the preset doesn't seem to fix it, only turning the vent off and back on again sends it back to the right spot.

Dear Rivian, stop messing with the vents all the time. Leave them where we park them and done.

Had that yesterday. Left vent by the drivers window indicated it was pointing toward the window, but air was hitting my knuckles on the wheel. I turned the vent on and off, and then commanded it to the extremes. Seemed to help make it more accurate, but seems off still.
