Update: After driving I see all the changes to that left side of the screen. Still wish the compass/street name could be moved more center or off completely but whatever.

My Gen 2 is showing 2024.39.30. Are the version numbers different for Gen 1 vs Gen 2?

It’s displaying a bunch of null data: 0° outside temp, 0°c battery temp, heading 0°, etc.

Do a full reset and it should be better. Please let us know.

Ugh, sorry. Given that it fixed the same post-update problem in https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/...camera-view-gear-guard-live.33404/post-624103 I’d contact Rivian and see what they say. Please keep us posted.

I’ve been watching my R1T’s data usage, and I can see that it’s downloading the update. You don’t get the notification that there’s an update to install until it’s downloaded a decent amount of data (usually multiple gigabytes, in my experience), possibly the entire thing, so when you find out the update is available is dependent on multiple factors, including the strength of the WiFi signal where you are parked (it does not download over cellular, at least for me). If you spend the day away from home/wifi connectivity, it will take longer for you to get the update, through no fault of Rivian’s, regardless of whether or not you have Connect+.

(Sadly, I’m about to head out, so there’s no way I’ll actually be able to update until this afternoon at the very earliest.)

Well sh*t! This is the exact bug I’ve had for a month and was hoping 2024.39 would _fix_ it not _cause_ it.

Just updated to 2024.39 and now this...

Also noticed I can no longer set "do not auto lock at home" so now my car is constantly locking and unlocking as I walk past the garage. Anyone else had this issue and have a fix?

Normally for LE R1s , I will get update on day one. this time no update (I did not sign up for Connect+)

Mine started when I got home and then got stuck on “paused “ for the last hour or so. I’m connected to WiFi but I guess my truck has second thoughts on this update….

Mine did this a couple versions ago, was stuck in pause for days. I ended up having to call Rivian Service, who had to get in touch with someone else and they had to cancel my update, and manually re-push it to my vehicle. then the download completed. Just an FYI.
