2024 Model Year R1T?

I assume all the R1T's in the shop are 2023 (nothing really saying otherwise). 2023 model year is very near the end since auto mfg's typically switch to the next model year in the summer, i.e. 2024
1. When (rough date) did the R1T 2023's get released?
2. Assuming all things equal, 2024 should follow the same cadence?
I am a recent addition to the forum though lurking for a few months. I don't hold a reservation for pre-price hike so want to maximize value towards the latest model year rather pay full price for a 24 instead of a 23

New-wave (incl. Tesla and Rivian) do model year cutover at approximately calendar year cutover.

I wouldn’t expect MY2024 to be in the hands of customers until 2024.

Ditto. I took delivery in Nov. 2022 and its a '22 model/VIN #.

Rivian only switches model Year builds at the very end of the year (so far) like December builds. I held off my delivery when it was offered in mid Dec till they 100% could guaranty a 2023 VIN which eventually was built 12/2022 and delivered Jan 20, 2023.

My first vehicle was allocated and I received a vin number for a 22 . The vehicle was cancelled due to it never getting passed inspection. I ended up getting a 23 with a different color both inside and outside. It was finally delivered yesterday but I gave it to my son in law.
