I love how the cooled/heated seats still aren’t fixed regarding knowing which setting to be automatic. It’s 106° here in Arizona and my truck is recommending the heated seats. How hard could it really be to fix this issue once and for all?
No kidding!! This is just a couple of lines of code! If ext temp > 75, then cooled, else heated!!!

Got a link.
He says "you're still going to have to select in the next software update....". Not sure if he let something slip there, or if he was referring to the next software update to the drive system. It jumped out at me when I was half-way paying attention to it. (around the 15:10 timestamp - link below should take you there).

Adaptive Headlights (high beams) Bug Introduced?

Morning freeway commute, pre-dawn, light traffic, dark road – adaptive highs kick on as usual… cool. But it seems the mains now turn off when high beams are on, which wouldn’t be a problem - but, you know, adaptive. So driving with brightly lit sides while the road directly in front of me is dark because there’s a car several hundred meters ahead the highs are avoiding and there are no mains for standard illumination.

Definitely a new behavior and can only assume a bug. Right?

yea I noted Adaptive Headlights weirdness above as well.
I just did full car reset (hazard button) today, and will retry night driving tonight.
you might consider doing the same, and report back.

That sucks. The solution they’re trying today is just another example of over-engineering. Just list both options on the screen and be done with it.

I hope so for the first one. The hazard light action is annoying.

As for the second item, the active grill shutters manage airflow to improve aerodynamics, efficiency, etc. When the vehicle wakes, you may hear the shutters open and close. I believe this is what they’re referring to.
The active grill shutters are quiet when the vehicle wakes now.

Updated last night. No issues to report on drive today. Seat ventilation default still incorrect as others reported.

It's in the dual motor standard video he just posted. Doesn't really matter, we know it's at least in the internal beta update, so it's likely to be introduced in the September update at this point.
I'm here for it. I hate that rear disconnect, and I already hop into the drive mods screen every drive to disable the auto-height, so it would be no change in routine for me anyway.

Since this update the seat temperature selection seems to be working much better for me now. Previously it would randomly select heat or cool, with no logical pattern. Since this update it has guessed right 100% of the time, always selecting cool. It was the middle of summer, after all.

It will be interesting to see what happens when the truck is cold. So far, it has not defaulted to heat, but I have not wanted heat yet.

Mine has consistently been selecting heat rather than cool for the cool Colorado mountain mornings since I arrived a couple of weeks ago. Definitely seems improved.
