As I was trying to tell you - they aren't going in to production in 2026. Anyone with any sense could see that and even Scout is saying "production starts in 2027."Sorry but this is nonsensical. In this business there are two phases of production. Preproduction produces release candidates, to validate assembly process and compatibility of parts. Once that is done, series production begins. Production leads to delivery. Production start dates can postpone if preproduction milestones are not met. Rivian delayed production. But once production began, cars were delivered.
Wouldn’t Scout have access to tech through their sharing agreement?I don’t think they compete as strongly. Trucks generic and not innovative and Rivian will have three years to continue to innovate and add new features.
I was mostly thinking that it would rarely be used around the PNW just due to rain, but the noise and heat factor now that you mention it.Yes having a fabric roof will make it noisy.
That's what the R1S is for lol.SUV looks kind of cool, but maybe in the minority here, I don't want a soft top.
Nope. Only the 'zonal architecture' they pointed out in the reveal.Wouldn’t Scout have access to tech through their sharing agreement?
I have a feeling this may have actually been how the Scout designers created these after allI was hoping the truck would be more like the Alpha Wolf EV (if that ever ends up existing), something that really was a bit more retro.
As is both models look more like bad AI renders of the R1T and R1S
