M sport ok if it had the correct accessories. M badge no.

I had a heavily modded 335i back in the day. Didn't need or want an m badge on it. Drive me crazy how often people did that.

Anyone interested in making a FTL badge done in the rivian color/font scheme?

Without a formal licensing agreement, which I don't believe Rivian offers, if Rivian finds out you might get a cease and desist.

One generally cannot make money off of another company's designs - although I'm not sure if the Rivian "Quad" font is protected? I'm not a lawyer but I know Rivian didn't like AO selling blacked out Rivian emblems.

IMO, Gen 1 Quads don't need this. We hardcore geeks know what the yellow highlights and calipers mean. That said, it's your car. Enjoy and do what you want (just watch out for Rivian Legal).

Extremely unlikely. There’s a lot of directly branded 3D stuff now. I take a bunch to the SC as giveaways every time I go. I gave some to the staff at the Scottsdale space. This isn’t a trademark item, and those are.

I just realized I have no idea what badges I have.

Here are my notes on Rivian yellow and filaments. I’ve made a bunch of stuff for myself, to give out, and to sell.

Hatchbox PLA/PETG in dark yellow is the closest to Rivian. It is FFB500 while Rivian is either FFB100 or ffac00.



Overture PETG is close to Rivian yellow. FFAC00 or FFB100



Polymaker HT-PLA Yellow is e9b622, so slightly off and duller.

I think badges will survive in PLA. Interior stuff definitely will not. And here in AZ, even PETG does not. Even with a roof cover and tint all around including the windshield.

Personally, I prefer DE-BADGING, not adding badges. Clutter.
