Too many repetitive podcasts.
Yeah, if I have to hear him say there's not enough choice in the market for 50k SUV BEV's one more time I'm going to freak out....seriously, he sounds like a broken record sometimes. Love RJ, but time for some new talking points or perhaps take a break with these interviews.

I think you have to realize that no matter how many times we, Rivian enthusiasts, have heard it, its the first time to someone else.

He has to be repetitive to show consistency in his messaging to first-time listeners and EV veterans a like.

It would seem logical, we're about to hear these messages more from podcasting in Canada and possibly Europe as those countries get closer to launch in their market. Use the market as target data and RJ as the aim point.

I think my biggest gripe is the overuse of "inconceivable". As someone with eyes on what's going on policy-wise, I can absolutely conceive gas sales in the US being dominant for decades to come and can absolutely conceive people buying cars that can't self-drive well beyond 2030.

When he talks about the challenges Rivian faced in 2020 with covid, yeah, that was unexpected, but most other problems/roadblocks he's mentioned.. ..all of those should have backup plans. I'm sure they've had such plans, but it just feels insincere.

I watched the video and as someone new to Rivian, I found it pretty interesting. Just had one minor nitpick - he kept saying car parks when the term is fleets. They have vehicle fleets for testing.

Im over the autonomy kick.. I really am.. interstates going 80 I'll take it.. but I dont really see a need for it driving around the block to taco bell.. not to mention, if people loose the driving experience, then whats the point of having a rivian....

If, by 2030, every new car will drive itself, why buy a Rivian? One thing for sure, do NOT buy a launch edition R2 or R1 because according to its maker, these will be hopelessly outdated within four years.

The automation capability is actually a central reason I am seriously considering an R2, but I think realistically it will be 2033 before eyes off freeway will be as ubiquitous as adaptive cruise control. I think 2038 before eyes off surface street is that commonplace.

I’d rather RJ be repetitive on his convictions than give wildly erratic promises and performances for sake of being meme-famous. You don’t have to partake if you don’t like repetition.
