Hi All,

We back looking at another update, this going forward will be the primary place we post information as the Twitter account got reported for "impersonation", just to re-iterate we are not associated with Rivian in any way, we do this independently. Now onto the update.

New Assets for Pet Mode

Well, I force quit the app - which I have been doing shortly after the drain and random unlocking (read: day 2) and now I got a notification as soon as I did saying I needed the app open to use phone as a key

It only did this twice

That is pretty much identical to the message the Tesla app gives you XD

No Pet Mode while fast charging? Not sure why that would be and frankly eliminates 90% of my use case.

No Pet Mode while fast charging? Not sure why that would be and frankly eliminates 90% of my use case.

Isn’t that referring to when you can update the vehicle’s software, not when you can use pet mode?

That's right, hence the "newVehicleSoftware.preconditionText" string. It just adds no Pet Mode active to the preexisting conditions. An update would just shut it off, so making it a precondition is just a way to make sure owners don't accidentally initiate an update while keeping pets cool and away from the vehicle.
