I have an R1S 2025 gen2 with about 900 miles on it and after the latest update, I'm getting "service suspension soon" alerts and I can not change drive mode or ride height. I have occasional clunking noise coming from the front end too. Service has already been out once for other issues and I'm quickly getting concerned about this vehicle. The service center is over an hour away so not an easy trip. The front end sensors won't work either and there are about 3 red alerts on my screen. Does this sound familiar to anyone or is it a unique problem? No off-roading yet.

They should be towing it if the air suspension isn't working.

The service suspension soon is usually due to a faulty sensor.

You can try a hard reset on the vehicle to see if that helps but most likely you will need service.

Whenever any part of the suspension is not working, all those other systems you have faults for are disabled. That is why proximity sensors, ride height, driver + and highbeams aren't working.

What is your VIN? Mine is 57XXX. I have 1400 miles on my R1S with no issues so far.

I’m sorry to hear your going through this. Hopefully it is an easy fix.

Use hard reset.
Make service appt.
If it’s an ongoing issue not resolved by either of the above, familiarize yourself with your state lemon law and use it to force a buy back if necessary.

Yeah did hard reset and software reset several times. Talked to service and they said to come in February lol. Then they called me back and said this week thankfully. I leased this vehicle due to the EV credit, wonder how the lemon laws work with leases. Overall I like my Rivian, it's just become a joke in my family because every day there's a new issue.

So had to drop off Rivian at the service center and they had it for a week and replaced some sensors. They gave me a loaner which was nice but still 2 hours of driving to service center and back. Now a week later, my Rivian is stuck offline AND won't drive due to a hood latch sensor malfunctioning. I tried to drive it but it's in low performance mode and only went 11 mph! I feel like this ride is a lemon officially. When does it officially become a lemon legally? Any advice?

You don't have to wonder.. it's pretty easy to read up on it for your particular state:
