Is the wiring to this plug accessible from the rear if I remove the under seat storage? I’m never going to plug anything into this outlet so I’d like to repurpose it for something else inside the cabin.

You can run a wire down into the gear tunnel next to the seat. Not sure if the gap goes all the way to the bottom of the seat back.

Yea I saw that but I’d rather just use the wiring instead of plugging in an adapter that could get broken loading luggage in.

I would think so, based on the fact the soft trim in the roof of the tunnel is very easy to slide out from the rigid trim that holds it in place. Not had to do that for the 12V accessory plug, but had to do it a few times for the lights when the supply wire vanished, so assume it's not much different.

Unfortunately I checked with a flexible camera thing and it’s all metal from the interior side, so I just ran a wire to the battery instead. I guess you’d have to take apart the tunnel trim and carpet to get to the plug
