I don't think anyone's trial period has started so it's odd that someone told you that yours was over. I would check with support again and see if you get the same answer.

if the OTP for UHF can be transferred, it might help with resale down the road in 4-8 years.
Rivian has already said many times officially and in writing that the one-time purchase stays with the car - if you buy lifetime autonomy for your car, then whoever buys your used vehicle will inherit that.

Noted in there is that all current owners of 2025-present vehicles have free access to the Autonomy+ features until Feb. 2026, then a 60-day trial starts.
And if history is any guide, they may not begin charging until many months after that. It all depends on when they are ready to roll it out as a paid service. Certainly no sooner than Feb 26, but I wouldn't be surprised if it gets delayed.

Regardless, as others have said, Rivian has been pretty clear so far that Autonomy+ will eventually be a paid feature to cover things above and beyond the "normal" level. They're not going to take away your cruise control or AEB or rear cross-traffic warning or any of those features that are a part of Driver+. Here's a link showing what is and isn't in Autonomy+:
