You got the (corrected) steps right. Protrusion doesn't affect range as much as the tires themselves. I found similar range on identical tires, technically better range on the Ram rims.

Are these from @kanundrum ? If so, I would ask about the mileage warranty ?
Good to know, thanks. I did indeed get them from kanundrum, tires definitely are on the worn side (as was clearly disclosed by him). Hoping to get 5-10k out of them and see how the off-road stuff goes, before deciding to drop more on factory-spec 20"s with 34" tires.

One question about rub - I know it's unlikely (sounds like the 275/60/20s don't generally have issues in standard/low), but is there anything I should be keeping an eye on to ensure it's not happening? Looking inside my wheel well right now I see some marks on the inside, but I'm guessing any rub from the tires would be at the top of the well, where the tire pokes beyond the top of the body?

If you go OEM 34", you'll get rub in low or lowest. I wouldn't ever go in Low or lowers with 34" if you can help it, definitely only in firm if you have to. We do low/firm with 33" on Rams and never rub.

It's finally happened, I found some Ram 2363 wheels for a reasonable price! I'm picking up tomorrow and taking them to a local powdercoating shop to get blasted and painted satin black.

Edit: updated prices and picked some tires!

Wheels: $150
Sandblast/Powdercoat: $550
TPMS: $107
Center cap: $25
Hub centric rings: $15
Falken Wildpeak A/T3W 275/60R20: $1107
Mount/Balance: $116
TOTAL: $2070

I bought the TPMS sensor programmer and plan on keeping it for at least a year, so if anyone needs it, PM me and we can arrange pickup or shipping. It fits in a small flat rate box, so round-trip shipping is $20.

Update: These TPMS sensors have successfully been used by other members without any programming needed, https://a.co/d/gV1P2dE

Step 1: Get some cheap wheels
PXL_20230822_193623811.jpg

Step 2: Strip and prime

Step 3: Spray in satin black (only acceptable finish/color)

Step 4: Take new tires to be mounted a week later because Amazon/Simple Tire took a while to correct your order after sending half of the wrong size ?

Step 5: Clone the sensors with the Smart Sensor Pro+ TPMS sensor programmer.

Step 6: Come home a happy camper and patiently wait for winter!

Step 7: Install at winter and hit the trails

Step 8: Find another cheap set of wheels and a good deal on tires, get addicted to the project, and start it again!

For anyone in Puget Sound, there's a good set for $120 on Offer up I've been eyeing for a while.

https://offerup.co/wLe2GcW6iPb

I have an All Season and All Terrain set, what would a 3rd set be good for? ?
First it’s windshield washer fluid, now you are addicted to wheelsets. I’m going to talk to Mrs. Riviot and Douglas Fresh about doing an intervention.

Damn it, Colorado Man of the dogs, you had to make me ask. She says, "If you want to spend money, get me something nice!"

You just double the price, ya jerk.

I just bought these from the guy in Tacoma yesterday. They are in nice shape. I'll probably leave them the silver color. Next step, snow tires and TPMS. Tires-Easy.com has Hakka R5 SUV 275/60r20 for $277 each after a 5% coupon code.

Has this TPMS been working for folks without needing a programmer?

I'm both sad and proud, sad I won't have a third set but proud of another future 2363 owner in the area!

Those require a Smart Sensor programmer, which I have one. I've successfully done a few Rivian sets and a RAV4 set. PM me and I can order them, program, and ship to you at cost.

I've seen plenty better, but also worse.
I actually think that price is with the tires, but I’m making this my winter set, so they’re worthless to me.
Speaking of which, what TPM work for our Rivians, if I’m looking aftermarket?

I use these but have a programmer, so there's a good cost savings.

Some sites sell them pre-programmed for $60 each, like this:

https://evsportline.com/products/rivian-tpms

Rivian sells them for $90 each ???
